I haven't been on here for a while, and for good reason. This past weekend (Thursday through Sunday) I was at Gen Con in Milwaukee. I was busy there since I volunteered for Game Base 7 as well as Virtual Gen Con. Two of the articles I wrote for virtual are already on the web. The third, an article on Team Coolrobots of BattleBot fame, is still in the process of reaching the web.
Check out the articles here if interested... and I know there are errors because I checked them out already. Sadly, the EDITOR(S) added them because the errors I noticed were not in the draft I gave them.

In other news, my cat, Tiger, hasn't been doing so well. Yesterday we took him to the vet so we could see if it was worth his while to go on... we found out it was not. Sadly, I am leaving in about 5-10 minutes to bring him to the humane society to have him put down, and to say my last goodbyes. :( He was a good cat, and I will miss him, but he did have 12 wonderful years with our family. :} Goodbye, Tiger. I will not forget you.
Argh... while writing this, my nose has been running and my eyes have been all itchy... ugh.
Anyway, work has been sucky... I have been working in 100 plus temperatures, sometimes on the corrugator (which runs cardboard at temperatures even hotter than that). Let's just remind ya all that I live in Wisconsin, not California. *wink*
My rat, Goonie, is doing fine... even after his extra time out of the cage (I found him out of the cage when I got home on Sunday). I think he was sleeping because I didn't hear him at all, but when the peanut butter jar was opened, the rat was found. :}
OOh! OOh! OOh! (*raises hand anxiously in second grader manner*) I got a phone call yesterday for an interview so I will *mebbe* have an internship for this semester. I know I should have worked towards finding one a little more than I did... (which was put some information on a webpage) but it looks like I may luck out, and this could work. Well... I say could because I will prolly freak the guy out with my blue hair or start using internet speak on the grammar test, but if he cares about my mind and commitment more than my looks, I am in. *crossing anatomy* I hope for, but don't expect, much.
...now I just have to update my resume and get a few clippings and writing examples together in a quick make-shift portfolio.
I have more to say, but just now got a phone call and forgot what else was on my mind...
